What began as a personal calling grew into a professional mission: to build an agency of skilled, heart-centered doulas who provide exceptional care during life's most profound transitions. Today, as founder and CEO of Palo Alto Doulas, Karlene upholds her vision of inclusive, evidence-based, and deeply nurturing care for families of all backgrounds.
